We are a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation and a registered member of US Boxing Inc., as are all coaches and athlete members. The Lou Costello Sportsmen Club, Inc. offers a viable alternative to the drug & alcohol culture and related delinquencies from substance abuse. 65% of the time is spent on instruction and education in amateur Olympic style boxing techniques through exercise, videos, didactic lectures and clinics provided by boxing officials, coaches and experienced boxers. 25% of the time is spent on instruction on substance abuse prevention and nutrition by substance abuse experts, health care providers, nutritionists, videos, didactic lectures and clinics. 10% of the time is spent on travel to local, regional and national competition events. Athletes are provided mentors and role models in the form of coaches in an effort to encourage our male and female athlete members towards a positive direction in life.
The hours of operation, at a minimum, are Monday through Friday 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The Lou Costello Sportsmen Club is a Paterson, NJ based program which has served the Passaic County youth since 1975.
